In an effort to attack Donald Trump, the Clinton machine has located someone (and possibly two others) to launch a collateral attack accusing one of Trump’s foreign policy advisors of anti-Semitism.  The foreign policy advisor is Joseph Schmitz, former Inspector General of the Department of Defense.  The claim is apparently that Joe made disparaging remarks about Jews relative to the Holocaust.
To begin, I know Joseph Schmitz personally and professionally.  He is an uncompensated outside member of the AFLC Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee. He also serves with distinction on the AFLC Advisory Board, along with other distinguished gentlemen.
Joe is the consummate professional, a lawyer’s lawyer, and a gentleman of honor and integrity.  He is neither anti-Semitic nor bigoted in any way.  These claims are fabricated out of whole cloth, which of course is why they have not even been raised until today.
Any man who would make such an allegation is a liar, and as we say in Yiddish, a schmuck.
